Hi, I’m Javier, and I’m the doctors’ assistant. I have worked here for 4 years, and enjoy an excellent relationship with all of the staff. I love animals, although our family doesn’t have any pets at the moment, since we live in an apartment-and pets need space.
My work at the clinic consists of holding our patients so that they are relaxed for their treatments, and filling prescriptions for herbs and remedies. Since this is my first job experience working with animals, I’m also participating in veterinary assistant classes though VSPN.
I was born in Colima, Mexico, where I was educated and worked as a First Captain in the Infantry. I am married, and my wife and I have 3 daughters-the youngest is 5 and the oldest, 12. For the last 11 years, I have worked with Troop 80 of the Boy Scouts of America. I have also been involved in Martial Arts for many years, having practiced Judo, Karate, and Hap Ki Do; currently I am studying American Kempo. My other hobbies include a daily early-morning run, working out, motorcycling, and reading.
