Jaqueline Gray, DVM

Dr. Jaqueline Gray is a 1997 graduate of Colorado State University.  She came to Los Angeles for a rotating specialty internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the WLA VCA.  She is a 2000 graduate of the IVAS course in veterinary acupuncture.  She has also studied homeopathy with Dr. Richard Pitcairn, spinal manipulation at the Healing Oasis and completed extensive herbal training.  She brings a form of integrative medicine to the hospital.  She practices several holistic modalities and also combines them with western treatments and surgery as needed.  Her addition to the practice opens the ability for the patient to receive complete veterinary care in the Limehouse Veterinary Clinic.  Dr. Gray, as well as offering full service veterinary care and surgery, also has an interest in advancing holistic and medical procedures.  She is now able to offer Stem Cell therapy for the treatment of arthritis and common ligament injuries.  Future potential for stem cell therapy is endless, including kidney disease, heart disease, and diabetes to name a few.  Dr. Gray continues to grow and expand her knowledge, from cutting edge medicine to ancient medicine.  This is why we are excited to have her as a doctor here at Limehouse Veterinary Clinic.

Dr. Magda Szyrmer

Dr. Magda Szyrmer was born in Poland but grew up in Philadelphia. She loved animals from a young age and grew up in a household with many pets including dogs, rabbits, birds and cats. She completed her undergraduate degree at Princeton University, and afterwards followed her lifelong dream to become a veterinarian by attending and graduating from the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary school in 2009. Soon after graduation, she became interested in holistic medicine, and pursued the IVAS acupuncture certification. Her main interests include nutritional therapy and alternative treatments. She is currently writing a book on how to make complete, and balanced home-cooked diets for dogs. Dr. Szyrmer believes in an integrative approach and will use conventional treatments where necessary, but will also integrate acupuncture, Chinese and Western herbs, flower essences, homeopathy, Standard Process supplements, and nutritional therapy into many of her protocols.

Dr. Christina Shepherd

Dr. Christina Shepherd is a Los Angeles native who grew up with a passion for animals that continues to grow throughout her career.

She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Cruz and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Science in 2010.  After graduation, she had the opportunity to work in Las Vegas, Nevada and San Antonio, Texas prior to moving back to Los Angeles in 2014 to be closer to family and friends.

Dr. Shepherd focuses on a whole-pet approach and integrates conventional and alternative medicine with her patients.  She has a keen interest in surgery and dentistry, as oral health can influence the entire body in both animal and human alike.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Shepherd enjoys staying fit through triathlon training, hiking and yoga. Her dogs are her most enthusiastic running buddies.
